My biggest business opportunity occurred because I listened in a group for ten seconds. A chance conversation. Hard to have if you work solo. Pod up and rock out. Learn intensity and drive in a group - then apply it every day of your life even if you work solo later on. Remember the adrenaline. Like that sixteen hour day that made your fledgling business roar for a lifetime. That brass ring is always coming by in a group - not so much if you fly solo.

The Apprenticeship system always relies on pods - learners plus experienced folks, working together.

THE FIRST AND ONLY RULE OF SUCCESS IS: LISTEN, LISTEN, LISTEN, AND THEN LISTEN SOME MORE - LEARNING, GETTING EXPERIENCE, IS 90% LISTENING, 10% DOING. EVEN LATER ON, I LISTEN.

SUCCESS COMES LATER. GET YOUR CUSTOMERS FIRST: THEN START YOUR BUSINESS. THIS IS WHAT REN-BIZ WILL TEACH YOU. DON’T BE THE ONE WHO INVESTS ALL WITHOUT CUSTOMERS.

If you learn to work in a pod now, then 20 years from now, when you have a super-successful family internet business after you move to Small Town, USA, you will be able to run your internet business from your home. Think about it. Pod up now, for your future. Independent, successful, family biz are the future - all in pods. Be a go-between, bringing buyers and sellers together on the internet, across the state, across the country, across the world. Freedom, civility, family, community.

More good new ideas are born from a tragedy than from ordinary times. Sometimes we can dream these new ideas ourselves, but a group think tank can really help. Sometimes necessity is really the mother of invention - be the group who invents, who “proacts” rather than “reacts.”
Please, treat yourself to working in a group, and commit to help the group succeed. It is a lifelong skill, a way to develop passion, the road up to success. Remember the ten second rule, listen hard.
